Data Science Center Named a Legal Technology Trailblazer by the National Law Journal

San Francisco – The National Law Journal (NLJ) has named Cornerstone Research’s Data Science Center a 2023 Legal Technology Trailblazer, recognizing it as an industry leader in providing clients with efficient and secure large-scale data analytics.

“The Data Science Center and the entire firm is honored to be recognized as a Legal Technology Trailblazer,” said Mike DeCesaris, vice president at Cornerstone Research and head of the Data Science Center. “This recognition is a testament to our firm’s early and continued commitment to investing in and developing innovations to facilitate the analysis of big data and the use of data science methods for litigation.”

The Data Science Center leverages its in-house team of interdisciplinary data scientists to apply techniques such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and text analytics to supplement traditional econometric analyses. The team’s impact includes improving efficiencies, enhancing quality, and unlocking new approaches for data analysis through state-of-the-art modeling.

The National Law Journal’s annual list recognizes companies that are changing the way law firms and legal organizations operate by developing and delivering innovative solutions that improve the practice of law. Cornerstone Research is recognized alongside several Am Law 50 and Am Law 100 law firms.
